All ten students in Mrs. Jeardeau's Thursday 4K class enjoyed their lunch today of cheeseburgers on a whole grain bun, baked beans, carrots, and applesauce. Mrs. Jen, our Food Service Director, along with the Food Service staff, loves providing healthy meals to happy kids!
The Food Service department is working hard planning meals for Spring Break for our students. A special sign-up has been created for those that will want meals for March 15-19. Meals will be available at our regular pick-up time on Tuesday, March 9th. You must sign up using the link below to receive the meals for that week. The deadline to register is March 4th, but we would appreciate you registering sooner if possible. Please submit a new response for each child needing meals. Meals are available to all children age 18 and younger. Thank you for supporting your district by taking free school meals.

The NC School Board will hold their February meeting tonight, beginning at 7:00 p.m. One of agenda items of the meeting will be the discussion of students possibly returning to school for additional face to face instruction. Students in Intro to Ag have been working in a unit on leadership, In the unit they were to complete a service learning project. This week students made 45 Valentine's Day cards for residents at Soldiers Grove Health Services.
February is American Heart Month! Help our students support the American Heart Association by taking part in the Kids Heart Challenge. The students will be collecting donations and giving back while learning about heart Health. All donations will be collected by February 26th.
