The North Crawford School District still has windows to give away to anyone interested. We have the full 3 panel windows as pictured, but also have a few smaller windows. The windows are FREE, we just ask those interested to be able to get to the school in the short-term to haul them away. If interested, or for questions, contact Harry Heisz at 608 735-7204.

Anyone else see an unusually high number of cement trucks moving north and south on Hwy 131 today? Can you say "new parking lots!!" That's right, work began today laying concrete for our new parking lots. Over 40 cement trucks are delivering 440 yards of cement today, which is being laid by Milis Flatworks. And that's just the front parking lot!! Parking lot installation will continue through next week. All NC parking lots are currently closed. If you need to visit the school, please park on Cty Rd X and walk around through the grass. Great things are happening at North Crawford!! #TrojanPride

Due to construction on parking lots, the North Crawford Community Fitness Shed will be closed to the public starting Wednesday, July 19th through at least Friday, August 4th. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.
Due to the short work week last week with the holiday, we don't have a full construction update to share from last week. Progress continued last week in most areas, with two new projects kicking off last week. Stalker Sports Floors were in to begin working on the small gym floor to fix the water damage. Additionally, Showen Excavating was in last week to begin tearing up the old asphalt parking lots and prepping for new concrete parking lots later this summer. 6 North Crawford students were part of a group of 53 local students who completed the Safe Tractor Operator Course this week taught by local Agriculture Education Teachers. We had a warm three days learning tractor safety, fire safety/first aid, hearing a farm accident survivor story, and learning how to operate a tractor on the driving course. All 6 of these students passed both the written and driving exam to earn their state and federal certifications! Thank you to all those who sponsored this important opportunity for students.

10 North Crawford FFA members set out for Madison Tuesday morning for the State FFA Convention. Members attended the first general session where Darci represented the chapter while receiving the P.R.I.D.E award for their increase in membership and Kasey Bankes was awarded the Section 4 Gift of Blue jacket presented by the state officer team. We are ready for another full day of convention!

Mrs. (Linda) Dworschack shared her snake, Rosalind, a ball python, with the 4th-grade summer school class. They were thrilled to have her in our classroom today.
The 7th Grade Life Science class finished the school year by dissecting frogs. They learned about the different structures, organs, and systems inside and out of the frog, and were able to identify them as they dissected the specimen. #TrojanPride
Do you need windows for a greenhouse project? Maybe a workshop or hunting shack? What about cabinets or countertops for your garage or utility room? As the district continues our renovation projects, we have old windows, cabinets, countertops, and sinks that we would love to see find a new home. If you have any use for any of these products, they are yours free of charge. All you simply have to do is show up at school to haul them away. To celebrate the end of Summer School, all Pre-K through 9th grade students will be going swimming at the Gays Mills swimming pool on Friday, June 9th. Students should bring a swimming suit, towel, and sunscreen to school that day. #TrojanPride
