Happy Monday, NC, Families!
We are now accepting pre-orders for meals for the week of September 30-October 6. Meals for grades Pre-K through 5th will be sent home on Tuesday, September 29th. All other orders must be picked up curbside at the North Crawford School District's elementary entrance on Tuesday, September 29th, from 5-7 pm. Meals are free and available to everyone age 18 and younger. Free meals include those eating at school, full virtual, home school families, and those not yet school-age. You must pre-order to receive these meals. If you have ordered meals previously and selected to receive meals all year, please do not fill out the form again. There are more details within the order form. You do not need to pre-order for meals eaten at school. Please see the link below to order.

Beyond the Bell: This year, you get to take Beyond the Bell home with you! Weekly each student will receive an age appropriate kit for 3 activities with instructions and materials needed to engage in some fun and hands-on learning. There will be an instructional video or read aloud created by a NC teacher which will be posted in their Seesaw or Google Classroom account to support the learning. Yesterday we received an incredibly generous donation from the La Farge Free Methodist Church. The gift paid off the negative meal service balances for every student in our district! This donation was made possible by generous donors to the churches Widow's Mite Ministry. We can't thank the La Farge Free Methodist Church enough and hope they know how appreciated their kindness is.
Hey Trojan fans, plenty of athletics happening on Saturday. The Cross Country teams travel to Wauzeka-Steuben on Saturday, while the girls Volleyball team hosts La Farge at North Crawford. Just a reminder to turn in the influenza vaccine authorization form by tomorrow AM. The clinic will run on Sept 29th and Oct 1st starting at 9:30 AM. Below is some good information from the DHS on mask wearing. I would like to strongly remind everyone that cloth face coverings must be washed EVERY DAY! Failing to do so puts the wearer at increased risk for illness. The hand out below reviews mask wearing and how to wash them.

Happy Wednesday NC families,
I would like to thank all the students for being vigilant in wearing their masks while at school. Along with social distancing and frequent proper hand hygiene, wearing a mask greatly reduces the chances of COVID-19 spreading in our community, especially with some universities sending college students back home, potentially bring the virus to a community that may not have had it. Following the mitigation measures at all times is essential as according to the DHS "it is currently estimated that 40% of COVID-19 cases are asymptomatic and that 50% of all COVID-19 infections are the result of asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic transmission". Be safe, wear a mask, wash your hands, and avoid large gatherings!
