The North Crawford football team kicks off their inaugural 8-player season tonight as they host the Weston-Wonewoc co-op team. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. We are not limiting spectators to the game, however we ask those in attendance to follow all of the district's COVID protocols, including masking and physical distancing. If you would prefer to watch the game from the comfort of your own home, you can live stream the game by clicking the link below. Be patient with the live stream, as it's our first time live streaming an outdoor event, so there may be some glitches. Thanks to the Fresh, Fruit, and Vegetable Grant from the USDA, our students were able to try this delicious blend of fresh red, green, and sweet yellow peppers! We also tried sugar snap peas, strawberries, kiwi, plums, mangos, blueberries, apples, watermelon, and broccoli this month.

7th grade AG students started learning about soil and soil health. They started the unit by building earthworm habitats to observe and care for over the next few weeks!

North Crawford is proud to recognize Quentin Lathrop, Kloee Chamberlain and Devon Orth, who earned Academic All Conference this year. The honor is calculated by a mixture of grade point average and scores on the ACT test. We would like to congratulate these three students for their efforts through their 4 years of high school and achieving this honorable distinction. We look forward to hearing about the incredible things you will accomplish after graduation.

The North Crawford Food Service team is excited to welcome our students back. As a reminder, both breakfast and lunch are free for all students. Taking the free meals supports our district, saves on your household budget, and reduces stress! Our meals are nutritious, delicious, fun and convenient. Breakfast on Monday is a strawberry cream cheese bagel, applesauce, 100% fruit juice, and milk. Lunch is a sloppy joe sandwich served on a whole grain bun, baked potato chips, crunchy carrots, fruit, and milk!

Thanks to a grant provided by the Wisconsin Beef Council, students in Ms.Knutson’s food science class have been talking all about beef! Students were tasked with finding a recipe to use their randomly chosen cut!
