Hello, North Crawford Families: The food service department is planning to provide meals to families over our holiday break. We will prepare meals for 12/23 (virtual learning day), 12/28, 12/29, 12/30, and 12/31. We will have a parent pick-up time on Tuesday, December 22nd, between 5:00-7:00 pm. You must pre-register to receive these meals. You may use the link below or email Jen Kapinus at jkapinus@ncrawford.k12.wi.us to sign-up. The deadline to sign-up is Wednesday, December 16th, by 2:00 pm. There will be no meal pick-up on Tuesday, December 29th. As a reminder, all meals are free for everyone age 18 and younger. Hello North Crawford families. At last night's school board meeting, the NC board, by majority vote, voted for students to return to school on Monday, December 14th to our hybrid learning schedule. Additionally, the board approved students returning after holiday break on Monday, January 4th. We will follow the hybrid schedule that we have been working under all year. It's more important than it has ever been for all of us to work together to follow COVID protocols, including wearing face coverings, physical distancing, avoiding large gatherings, staying home when possible, and consistently washing and sanitizing your hands. It is going to take a team effort from all of us to keep our kids in school learning from our amazing staff. #TrojanPride

Reminder that Elementary Packet Pickup is this evening from 5:00-6:30 pm and tomorrow 7:30-9:00am. Please check to make sure your child didn't already bring home both packets or that your packets were not included in the meal box. Call the elementary office at 735-7210 when you pull up in front of the Elm door and we will run the packets out to your vehicle.

Greetings from the School Nurse, Following the Thanksgiving holiday, we are anticipating an increase in cases in our community. Children, especially elementary age, are more likely to test positive but have no symptoms. This creates a difficult scenario for our school community as people who have the virus, but have no symptoms, are still able to spread the virus. I strongly encourage taking students age 5 years and up to a drive through testing event in the next week or so. There are two testing events in our area. 12/3/2020 at the Richland County Fairgrounds 9a-4p. Here is a link to that event: https://covid.co.richland.wi.us/free-community-testing. On 12/10/2020 at the Old County Highway Shop 602 North Main St Viroqua from 10a-6p, you can call the Vernon County Public Health Dept for more info at 608-637-5251. If neither of these events work for you, call your public health department for other options. The more we know and can isolate cases, the more likely we are able to keep our school open. Stay safe, stay home as much as possible, wear a mask if you have to go out!
