There was a lot of buzzing in the 6th grade AG class last week as they learned all things pollinators. 6th graders completed a pollination simulation activity where worker bees could be found looking for flowers to collect nectar and pollen to spread to the next flower!

Middle and high school FFA members traveled to River Valley High School Wednesday to attend Fall Leadership Workshop! They met the state officer team and attended workshops to develop leadership skills to bring back to the chapter!

Dear Parents, please read the information below regarding an upcoming Youth Risk Behavior survey for our 6th-12th grade students.
Our school is taking part in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey sponsored by the Department of Public Instruction. The survey will ask about health behaviors that keep young people healthy, as well as behaviors that result in unintentional and intentional injuries, tobacco use, and alcohol and other drug use. It will also ask about bullying, sexual risk behaviors (mostly for high school students), online risk behaviors, stress and anxiety, self-harm, dietary behavior and physical activity. It also focuses on positive things like strong connections to the school and to other people.
There will be hard copies of the survey in the High School Office if you wish to look at it and if you have any questions or concerns about the survey, please contact Stephanie Colsch, 6-12 School Counselor at 608-735-7217 or scolsch@ncrawford.k12.wi.us
If you do not want your child to take part in the survey please have your student “opt out” by obtaining the form in the office. The form must be signed and returned to your high school office no later than October 29, 2021.
The district uses the data from the survey to develop and implement resources, procedures, and outreach to create a safe and welcoming environment for each and every student. Please refer to the attached documents for additional information.
