North Crawford Elementary School was recently selected as one of five schools from across Wisconsin to participate in the Building Better Connections with Families Project.* Through small group discussions, this project will gather feedback and information directly from parents and caregivers that can be used to create better partnerships between schools and families and to improve the learning environment for students.
These discussion groups will have approximately 6 to 10 participants from our school. The discussions will be facilitated by staff from the University of Wisconsin’s (UW) Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service (WIPPS). No school personnel, teachers, staff, or administrators will be observing or listening to the discussions, as we want parents and caregivers to be comfortable providing open and honest feedback.

The Crawford County Public Health Department. will be at NC on April 8th for a vaccine clinic. They will be offering all school required vaccines in addition to Meningococcal and COVID-19. Parent/guardian consent forms are required so please contact the Public Health department in order to have your child scheduled to receive any vaccines. The North Crawford School District is proud to be able to once again partner with the Rural Virtual Academy for the 2022-23 school year so we can provide top-notch virtual education in our school district to those families that are interested. Of course we would love to have all of our students here at school for in-person instruction, but we understand virtual learning is a better fit for some families.
The RVA has almost 20 years of experience delivering high quality virtual education. Families that choose RVA can still take classes here at North Crawford, and can participate in all of our co-curricular activities. These opportunities are not possible for students who are signed up for any other virtual program.

The North Crawford School Board has approved the District Calendar for the 2022-23 school year. One noticeable change to the calendar is school will begin two weeks early on August 18, and release two weeks early on May 18. North Crawford in collaboration with FEH Design will be hosting a SPARK Design Session on Monday, March 21st, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Community members are invited to show up any time during those hours to speak with architects regarding design concepts within areas of the building. Do you think the district's tech. ed. area needs to be redesigned? Maybe you want input on redesigning our science labs? How about a new concession area in the commons? Join FEH and have a hand in helping design these and any other space of the building or grounds. Following the SPARK design day, the district will host our third Community Task Force Meeting on Monday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
