🌱🍅 Greenhouse Goals in Action! 🍅🌱
Even though it’s a chilly January here in Wisconsin, our ag students are enjoying the warmth of our greenhouse and the fruits of their hard work—literally! Today, they harvested beautiful, fresh tomatoes that they started from seeds back in August. The best part? These tomatoes smell like summer and are a much-needed reminder of warmer days ahead. ☀️
From planting to building garden beds and learning how to care for the plants, these students have been hands-on every step of the way. This new learning space has provided them with an incredible opportunity to experience the magic of growing food year-round.
This learning space is making a big impact on our students’ education and their connection to agriculture! 🌞🌱

Due to the ongoing threat of cold weather, ALL after school athletic activities have been postponed or cancelled tonight. No practices, games, or meets will take place.

In light of the Extreme Cold Warning and dangerous temperatures forecasted for Tuesday morning, the North Crawford School District will be closed for Tuesday, January 21st.
Due to the predicted cold weather, a few changes have been made to the athletic schedule:
The Middle School Girls Basketball game against Kickapoo has been cancelled.
The JV/Varsity Boys Basketball game at Kickapoo has been postponed to Feb. 20.
High School Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball and Wrestling will practice right after school. Middle School Girls Basketball practice will be cancelled.

With the predicted frigid temperatures the next couple days, families should stay alert for any school delays or cancellations. We'll keep a close eye on the temperatures in the mornings to make sure it's safe for our students. Please keep your child indoors until the bus arrives at your stop. Exposure to the cold should be kept to a minimum. Please call the bus garage at 624-3484 if your child will not be riding the bus.
ATTENTION: There is no JV GBB game tonight. The Varsity ONLY game against DeSoto will start at 6:30pm. Come out and support the team!
