They are often the first staff member students see in the morning, and many times the last staff member they see at the end of the day. They greet students with a smile and a good morning, and at the end of the day a smile and good night. 6TH GRADERS SINGING NATIONAL ANTHEM
All of the North Crawford 6th Graders will be singing the National Anthem at the Boys Varsity Basketball game on Monday, February 19. The students will be asked to arrive at 6:45 p.m. to gather for a last minute rehearsal in the music room and their performance should be around 7:15 p.m.

Chef Justin was back today with taste test round #3. Today we enjoyed Pork Ramen Noodle Bowls, prepared with roasted pork, whole grain ramen noodles, crisp bok choy, green onions, and cashews in a savory broth. The pictures do not do this dish justice!
The 2nd-grade classes made "stained glass" hearts and Valentine's pictures for the residents at Soldiers Grove Health Services after seeing a Facebook post requesting people to brighten their day with some mail. We loved sending out our love to them for Valentine's Day!
Mrs. Seiser's class is 100 days brighter! The kindergartners celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as their favorite superhero - Zero the Hero. They had a blast!

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held next Thursday, February 15th, from 11:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Elementary parents should sign up for a conference time at the following link https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_g3NwLmywWBQPmq-aBiQqKWP3-2Rc13r11H6Hyikbcg/edit?usp=sharing. Middle and High School parents can drop in to see their child's teachers any time between 11:30 and 7:30. Parents of middle and high school students will have an opportunity to win prizes based on their participation. There will be no school for students on Thursday and Friday, February 15th and 16th. New Menu Item!
Thursday, our students and staff will enjoy Mongolian Beef & Cilantro Lime Rice from locally raised beef and made from scratch. This recipe was initially made by Chef Justin and tested by our students in December. We are excited to be adding it to our menu lineup. The feedback from students was very positive, so we hope our students will join us for lunch tomorrow! We'll serve it with broccoli, mandarin oranges, and a salad bar.

Cardboard Tubes Needed!
We are in need of cardboard tubes for our next R.I.S.E. Family event. We are collecting toilet paper tubes, paper towel tubes, wrapping paper tubes, aluminum foil tubes, you name it. Spread the word! The North Crawford band played the Canadian National Anthem to start the Milwaukee Admirals hockey game! They did an outstanding job!!! Couldn't be more proud of the crew!!! GO TROJANS!!!
