📚📝 Important Announcement: State Required Testing 📝📚
As we gear up for another significant milestone in our academic calendar, I wanted to inform you about the upcoming state-required testing for our students at all age levels.
Starting this week, our students will be embarking on these assessments, with a particular focus on Tuesday for our students in grades 6-12. Here's a breakdown of what to expect:
Tuesday: Students in grades 6-12 will be taking the state-required exams. Grades 9-12 will complete all of their exams on Tuesday as required by the state. For our students in grades 6-8, please note that they have a larger number of tests to complete, which will extend over the next two weeks.
We understand the importance of these assessments in gauging our students' progress and ensuring they meet the necessary standards. However, we also recognize the significance of maintaining a balanced approach to testing.
To this end, we strive to limit testing time to no more than 90 minutes per day in grades allowed by the state. We believe in the importance of supporting our students' well-being and ensuring they have the opportunity to perform at their best.
As parents and guardians, your encouragement and support play a crucial role in helping our students navigate these assessments with confidence. Please join us in motivating your child(ren) to do their best and reminding them that their hard work and dedication are truly valued.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to ensure the success and well-being of all our students.

For the past four years, our basketball competitions have commenced with a stirring rendition of the national anthem, courtesy of three remarkable students: Blake Zirk, Nathan Zirk, and Sarah Bransky. Their unwavering commitment to honoring America through song has left an indelible mark on our community.
Their performances haven't gone unnoticed. Parents, coaches, and members of our community have consistently praised the beauty and reverence with which they deliver our national anthem. It's been a truly touching experience for all of us.
But recently, something truly special happened. A local veteran, who wishes to remain anonymous, reached out with a heartfelt gesture. Moved by the students' dedication, they've generously offered a financial donation along with a heartfelt thank-you letter.
This act of gratitude speaks volumes about the impact these students have had on those around them. Their dedication to honoring our country resonates deeply, and it's moments like these that remind us of the profound connections we share as a community.
Blake, Nathan, and Sarah, your voices have not only echoed through our gymnasium but have also touched the hearts of many, including a grateful veteran who wanted to express their appreciation. Your commitment to honoring America is truly inspiring, and we couldn't be prouder of you.
Let's join together in applauding these exceptional students for their talent, dedication, and the unity they've brought to our community.

The North Crawford FFA had a great week celebrating FFA week! Dress up days, games, drive your tractor to school day, and officers reading to elementary classes were all apart of our fun filled week!

It was an exciting day in the AG room as we flipped on the switch to the greenhouse! Lots of dirty hands left today after planting our test run of hanging baskets in the greenhouse before our much bigger delivery in a short couple weeks!

The North Crawford FFA spent Tuesday of FFA week driving tractors to school and welcoming local farmers into the greenhouse for an appreciation lunch!

We'll celebrate our love of reading during our Literacy Lunch on Monday!

Kindergartners were treated to an extra special "Royalty Day" last Friday to accompany their Kings and Queens CKLA unit. The day was filled with building castles, designing crowns, drawing kings and queens, decorating cardboard castles, ballroom dancing, and a feast fit for kindergarten royalty.
