SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE

From the Superintendent's Desk....
North Crawford School District is nestled in Ocooch Mountains on the Kickapoo River Valley between the rural communities of Soldiers Grove and Gays Mills. Life in the southwestern corner of Wisconsin is less hectic and more closely knit. Smog, congested city traffic, and serious crime are foreign concepts for our communities.
Our facilities are well kept and modern. Our teachers and staff know our children and each child is important. We have an excellent staff of highly qualified and highly motivated teachers and support staff that take pride in the (academic, athletic/fine arts/extra-curricular, social) success of each child. Additionally our school board and administration take pride in our facility, programs, students, staff, parents and communities. Teachers and staff are involved in programs and programming both day and night, not because they have to, but because they want to.
I believe we have a truly excellent school and I believe when you enter the school you will feel the difference.
Yes we have been recognized as US News & World Report Best High Schools, a Wisconsin School of Promise Elementary and High School, a Wisconsin 100 Best Communities. But to those who live here we believe schools should be about more than just learning and books. It is that intangible part to the environment that makes North Crawford a great place to live, grow up and grow old.
If you are new to the area or looking for a place to live and raise your children, I encourage you to visit our school. From our front doors you can watch eagles soar over the Kickapoo River and the stars shine brightly at night. I believe you will agree that North Crawford is a great school and our communities are wonderful places to live.
Brandon Munson, Superintendent
